Chicken thighs with sage
Ingredients (serves 8): 
- 16 pieces of chicken thigh
- 300g English bacon
- 16 sage leaves
- 6 shallots (or 3 onions)
- 10 tbsp of vegetable oil

- 200 ml white wine
- 200 ml water
- salt and pepper
Method:
Marinate the chicken thighs with salt, pepper and a sage leaf. Wrap with a slice of English bacon. Add oil to a baking dish and sprinkle the shallots, cut in half. Place the thighs in the baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 30 minutes and occasionally add the dry white wine and water. Can be served with potates or vegetables.
